Beginners learn how to ski on the practice area in the valley which has a magic carpet, cable lift and baby lift. After the ski course,  the ski schools offer various activities, including a trip on the excursion train or Skidoo, a leisurely hike by torchlight, horse-drawn carriage ride and much more.

Once a week infants can head out on a trip in the "Ziachschlitten" with the little mascot "Tilly". Meanwhile in the 'Nuggetpark' fun park, boxes, rails, kickers and jumps await every ability level. The "Family slope" in the area at the Hochalmbahn mountain station provide adventure over 700 metres, with banked turns, waves, kickers and a "snail".

Rauriser Hochalmbahnen provide discounted tickets for children, youths, families and senior citizens aged 60+, for those who have a disabled persons ID card and groups of 20 or more.
